Boise State vs Utah Valley 11/26/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Utah Valley Wolverines and the Boise State Broncos meet Saturday in college basketball action from ExtraMile Arena. Utah Valley is 3-3 on the year so far. The Wolverines beat Green Bay in their last game. As for Boise State, they’re currently 3-2 and coming off a win over Colorado. Utah Valley went 2-1 over their first three games, following up an opener loss to Utah State with wins over Western State and Northern Arizona. The Wolverines would lose their next two games however, falling to Wake Forest and Morgan State. 

In Sunday’s matchup versus Green Bay, the Wolverines got off to a 33-23 edge by halftime. Utah Valley kept rolling with a 46-33 run from there in a 79-56 win. Justin Harmon scored 18 points, and Aziz Bandaogo doubled on 13 points and 14 rebounds. 

Over on the Boise State side, they alternated losses and wins over their first four games. The opening pair were a loss to South Dakota State and a win over Washington State. The Broncos then lost to Charlotte and beat Loyola IL. 

Boise State bucked the trend in Sunday’s game versus Colorado. The Broncos were up 41-33 heading into the second half. Boise State ended up with a 68-55 win. Marcus Shaver put up a double-double on 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the team. 

PICK: I’m going to stay with Boise State. The Broncos didn’t shoot spectacularly well in their win over Colorado (38.7 percent) but they kept themselves in the game with 40 rebounds (13 offensive) and eight steals. Boise State has hit 68 or more points in three of their last four, so they’re starting to figure out their offense. As for Utah Valley, they’ve hit 72 or more points in four of their last five. The Wolverines will probably put up a solid total here as well but I don’t think they’ll cover.
