The Milwaukee Panthers and the Chattanooga Mocs meet in college basketball action from the McKenzie Arena on Tuesday night.

The Milwaukee Panthers will look to build on their 74-61 win over IUPUI last time out. BJ Freeman leads the Panthers in scoring with 10.6 PPG as the lone double-digit scorer for Milwaukee up to this point in the season. Ahmad Rand has 9.5 PPG with 4.1 RPG and Justin Thomas leads Milwaukee in rebounding and assists with 4.9 RPG and 3.1 APG as well on the year. As a team, Milwaukee is averaging 78.5 points per game on 48.8% shooting from the field, 36.7% from behind the three point line and 72.8% from the foul line up to this point in the season.

The Chattanooga Mocs will be out to build on a third straight win after an 82-71 win over Gardner-Webb last time out. Jake Stephens leads the Mocs in scoring and rebounding with 21 PPG and 9.1 RPG and Jamal Johnson has 10.4 PPG with 3.8 RPG to make up the pair of double-digit scorers for Chattanooga up to this point in the season while Dalvin White has a team-high 3.2 APG to lead the Mocs in the assist category this season. As a team, Chattanooga is averaging 79.3 PPG on 48.1% shooting from the field, 40.1% from behind the arc and 74.1% from the foul line this season.

Milwaukee is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a win while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 road games. Chattanooga is 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS win and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games against a team with a road winning percentage below .400 while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 home games.

This would appear to be a matchup between two evenly matched teams and Milwaukee’s numbers on the surface are solid, but they’re not an overly efficient team as they’re ranked 309th in offensive efficiency according to KenPom against D-I opposition. The Mocs are scoring a lot better right now, sitting 114th in offensive efficiency and I just feel like this is a game where the Mocs pull away in the second half for the win and cover.
