The UL-Monroe Warhawks and the Omaha Mavericks meet in college basketball action from Northwest Florida State College on Friday night.

The UL-Monroe Warhawks will look to rebound from back-to-back losses after a 79-58 loss to Louisiana Tech last time out. Tyreke Locure leads the Warhawks in scoring with 14.2 PPG along with 4.4 RPG as the lone double-digit scorer for UL-Monroe up to this point in the season. Nika Metskhvarishvili has 9.8 PPG and 5.8 RPG while Jamari Blackmon has 9.8 PPG and a team-high 4.3 APG to lead the Warhawks in the assist department this season. Thomas Howell also has a team-high 6 RPG to lead the Warhawks in rebounding this season. As a team, UL-Monroe is averaging 77.6 PPG on 42.7% shooting from the field, 33.6% from three and 71.3% from the foul line this season.

The Omaha Mavericks will hope to bounce back from a 100-64 loss to Iowa last time out. Frankie Fidler leads the Mavericks in scoring and rebounding with 11.8 PPG and 5 RPG while Marquel Sutton has 11.2 PPG and 4.8 RPG as the only other double-digit scorer for Omaha up to this point in the season. Jaeden Marshall also has 9.4 PPG while JJ White’s dished out a team-high 3.8 APG as well this season. As a team, Omaha is averaging 65.8 PPG on 41.5% shooting from the field, 27.6% from three and 75.3% from the foul line this season.

UL-Monroe is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games following a loss by 20 or more points and 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall while the over is 7-1 in their last 8 games overall. Omaha is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 neutral site games and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games overall while the under is 7-2 in their last 9 neutral site games.

I get the case to be made either way here, but I’m looking at the over in this one. These offenses haven’t been spectacular, but I haven’t been wowed by either side’s defense (or lack thereof) this season. I think this is just going to end up being a track meet, so give me the over in this one.
