The Nevada Wolf Pack and the Oregon Ducks meet in college basketball action from the Matthew Knight Arena on Saturday night.

The Nevada Wolf Pack will look to build on their 85-77 win over Pepperdine last time out. Jarod Lucas leads the Wolf Pack in scoring with 17.3 PPG while Kenan Blackshear has 12.9 PPG with 5.6 RPG and 5.6 APG to lead the Wolf Pack in assists up to this point in the season. Will Baker also has 11.6 PPG with 4.6 RPG to round out the trio of double-digit scorers for Nevada so far this year while Darrion Williams has 7.7 PPG and a team-high 7 RPG of his own so far this year. As a team, Nevada is averaging 74.2 points per game on 43.5% shooting from the field, 37.1% from behind the three point line and 78.2% from the foul line this season.

The Oregon Ducks will try to bounce back from a 65-56 loss to UCLA last time out. Will Richardson leads the Ducks in scoring and assists with 14 PPG and 5.2 APG while N’Faly Dante has 13.6 PPG with a team-high 6.3 RPG to lead Oregon in rebounding up to this point in the year. Kel’el Ware has 10.3 PPG with 5.6 RPG and Quincy Guerrier has 10.1 PPG to cap off the group of double-digit scorers for Oregon up to this point in the season. As a team, Oregon is averaging 67.3 PPG on 44.8% shooting from the field, 28.2% from three and 62.7% from the foul line this season.

Nevada is 11-2 ATs in their last 13 games overall and 5-1 in their last 6 games against a team with a losing record while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 Saturday games. Oregon is 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600 and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 Saturday games while the under is 5-0 in their last 5 games following an ATS win.

I get the case to be made for Oregon being favored at home, but this Ducks team hasn’t been all that strong out of the gate and has really stumbled their way up to this point. Granted, injuries have played a part in that, but it is what it is and it’s something you have to navigate over the course of a season. Nevada’s been rolling along and covering numbers left and right and while I’m not sure they get the outright win, I think they can do enough to get themselves a cover here as well. Give me Nevada and the points.
