The CSU Fullerton Titans and the Pacific Tigers meet Friday in college basketball action from Alex G. Spanos Center. CSU Fullerton is 2-1 on the year so far following a win versus Vermont on Sunday. As for Pacific, they’re currently 2-1 as well and coming off a victory against North Dakota. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

CSU Fullerton had a tough matchup in their opener this year. The Titans were down 32-25 by halftime to San Diego State and ended up losing 80-57. In game two, CSU Fullerton got their first victory by taking out Pepperdine 74-71.

Back on Sunday against Vermont, CSU Fullerton had their closest game so far. The Titans went punch-for-punch with the Catamounts through two overtimes and finally came away with the win 94-85. Tory San Antonio put up 21 points with six boards.

Over on the Pacific side, they had trouble with Stanford in their opener. The Tigers were down 12 points by halftime and lost 88-78. Things got better in game two versus North Dakota State however, as Pacific managed a 91-86 victory.

In their latest matchup versus North Dakota, the Tigers were up 42-26 by the break. Pacific kept the pressure on with 51 points in the second and won 93-63 in a blowout. Luke Avdalovic topped the team with his 19 points and three boards.

The Titans are 6-0-1 ATS in their last seven overall and 3-0-1 ATS in their last four after an ATS win. CSUF is 4-0 ATS in their last four Friday games.

Meanwhile, the Tigers are 8-22-1 ATS in their last 31 overall and 2-7 ATS in the last nine after an ATS win. Pacific is 2-9-1 ATS in their last 12 Friday games.

PICK: I’m probably going to take a stab on Pacific. The Tigers have looked pretty good since their season-opening loss to Stanford. In their latest game versus North Dakota, Pacific ended up shooting a scorching 62.3 percent from the field and 45.8 percent from 3-point range. The Tigers were out-rebounded 40-30 but it hardly mattered. CSU Fullerton will likely be a tricky opponent, but if Pacific can keep up with the hot shooting I think they’ll be fine cover-wise.
