The Siena Saints and the Rider Broncs meet in college basketball action from the Alumni Gymnasium on Sunday afternoon.

The Siena Saints will look to build on their back-to-back wins after a 70-64 win over Iona last time out. Colby Rogers leads the Saints in scoring with 14.6 PPG while Jackson Stormo has 10.9 PPG and 6.9 RPG as well this season to lead Siena on the glass. Anthony Gaines has 10 8 PPG with 6.9 RPG of his own to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Siena up to this point this season. As a team, Siena is averaging 65.8 PPG on 43.3% shooting from the field, 35.3% from three and 71.7% from the foul line while allowing 69 PPG on 43.7% shooting from the field and 32.6% from three this season.

The Rider Broncs will look to add to their fou4-game win streak after a 58-49 win over Saint Peter’s last time out. Dimencio Vaughn leads the Broncs in scoring and rebounding with 13.3 PPG and 7.9 RPG while Dwight Murray Jr. has 12.6 PPG, 6.8 RPG and a team-high 4.3 APG to lead Rider in the assist department this season. Allen Powell and Mervin James each have 10+ PPG as well this season. As a team, Rider is averaging 67.1 PPG on 39.9% shooting from the field, 30.9% from three and 73.9% from the foul line while allowing 69 PPG on 41.2% shooting from the field and 34.1% from three this season.

Siena is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games against a team with a losing record while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games as an underdog. Rider is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall and 2-7 ATS in their last 9 home games while the under is 12-2 in their last 14 games as a home favorite.

I get the case to be made either way here, but while both teams have been playing well as of late, Rider did beat the Saints on their own floor just over a week ago. Home court hasn’t mattered as the road team has won each of the last three meetings. With that said, the last six meetings have all finished over this posted total. I think there’s going to be enough scoring to get us over this number as well, so give me the over here.
