The Colorado Buffaloes and the Texas A&M Aggies meet in college basketball action from the HTC Center on Friday.

The Colorado Buffaloes will try to rebound after a 66-63 loss to UMass in their tournament quarterfinal matchup. KJ Simpson leads the Buffs in scoring and assists with 17.7 PPG and 3.3 APG along with 5.3 RPG while J’Vonne Hadley has 11 PPG with a team-high 8.7 RPG to lead the Buffs on the glass. Jalen Gabbidon has 10.3 PPG and Tristan da Silva has 10 PPG with 4.3 RPG to cap off the group of double-digit scorers for Colorado up to this point.

The Texas A&M Aggies will look to rebound as well after their 88-79 loss to Murray State in their quarterfinal matchup. Wade Taylor IV leads the Aggies in scoring with 19.5 PPG while Henry Coleman III has 13.5 PPG with a team-high 9 RPG to lead the Aggies on the glass as well as posting a team-high 2.5 APG to lead the Aggies in the assist department. Dexter Dennis also has 12 PPG with 3.5 RPG to cap off the scoring in double figures for the Aggies up to this point in the season.

I get the case to be made either way in this game, but I like the under here. I just don’t know what to expect from either side in this game on such a quick turnaround, but historically, Texas A&M hasn’t been strong offensively, it’s been the defense that this team hangs its hat on and same thing goes for Colorado as this team is usually good to finish in the mid-60s. Give me the under in a first to 65 wins kind of game, if we even get that high.
