Boise State vs Colorado State Pick – Basketball Predictions & Odds 1/28/23

The Rams lost to Wyoming in their last game. As for Boise State, they’re sitting at 16-5 overall after a win over Fresno State on Tuesday. Colorado State Rams 

Colorado State beat Gardner-Webb, SE Louisiana, Weber State, South Carolina, MS Valley State, LMU, Peru State and Saint Mary’s in their first 16 games. The Rams are 2-3 since then with wins over Fresno State and UNLV. 

In their matchup versus Wyoming last Saturday, the Rams took a 35-21 deficit into the break. Colorado State fought back on a 36-23 second-half run but fell short 58-57. Isaiah Stevens doubled up with 15 points and 10 rebounds. 

Boise State Broncos 

Over on the Boise State side, they lost just four of their first 16 games versus SD State, Charlotte, Santa Clara and Nevada. The Broncos are 4-1 in their last five, beating UNLV, Wyoming, Nevada and Fresno State. 

On Tuesday in the Fresno State game, Boise State trailed by two points at the break. The Broncos rallied on a 40-28 second-half stretch and took the comeback win 63-53. Marcus Shaver put up 16 points with six rebounds in the victory.

I’ll probably stay with Boise State. The Broncos were a little sloppy in the first half of their last game versus Fresno State, but they were able to right the ship in the second half and get the win. Boise State is a nice 6-1 over their last seven games, posting 67 or more points in six of those. As for Colorado State, they’re coming off a tough loss to Wyoming in their last outing. The Rams have scored well lately with 69 or more points in seven of the last eight games though, so they may be able to hang around for a while here. I still like Boise State a little better on the eventual cover, though.
