Bowling Green vs Central Michigan Pick – Basketball Predictions & Odds 2/14/23

The Chippewas beat Miami-OH in their last outing. As for Bowling Green, they’re currently 10-15 overall following a loss to Ball State on Saturday. Central Michigan Chippewas

Central Michigan posted a sketchy run to start the season, going 7-11 through 18 games. The Chippewas are just 2-5 since then with losses to Ohio, Bowling Green, Kent State, Ball State and Toledo during that time. 

On Saturday versus Miami-OH, Central Michigan got back into the win column. After a 30-25 deficit by the break, the Chippewas fought back for a 66-60 comeback victory. Brian Taylor was the lead scorer on 22 points and eight boards. 

Bowling Green Falcons

Over on the Bowling Green side, they hit an 8-10 stretch to start the year. Bowling Green would then beat Miami-OH and Central Michigan before losses to Toledo, Ball State, NIU, Kent State and Ball State again. 

In the Ball State rematch, Bowling Green took a 49-33 deficit into the locker room. The Falcons didn’t get any closer on a 44-39 second half and lost 93-72. Samari Curtis was the top scorer on the team with 20 points.

I’ll probably stick with Bowling Green. That said, there’s not a lot to like about this game since both teams are struggling. The Falcons are sitting on a five-game losing streak but they’ve scored 64 or more points in four of those games. The last time these teams met up was back on January 24 at McGuirk Arena. Bowling Green scored a whopping 52 first-half points in that one and cruised to the road win 83-61. The Falcons probably won’t repeat that performance, but I still think they cover here.
