Florida Atlantic’s year began with a 21-1 run across their first 22 appearances. The Owls would go 5-2 in their next seven with wins over Charlotte, Rice, LA Tech, UTSA and UTEP. The pair of losses were to UAB and Middle Tennessee.

LA Tech Bulldogs

I’ll probably stick with Florida Atlantic. The Owls are sitting on a nice three-game win streak and they’ve won six of their last seven games in total. FAU has scored 70 or more points in six straight outings and should put up a nice total here as well. These teams last met up back on February 11 at FAU Arena in a 90-85 overtime win for the Owls. Louisiana Tech has continued to struggle since then and they’ve lost six of their last seven games. I like the Bulldogs to post a strong effort here but I like the Owls a little better cover-wise.
