The Missouri Tigers and the Texas A&M Aggies meet Wednesday in college basketball action from Reed Arena. Missouri is 13-2 overall this year. The Tigers beat Vanderbilt in their last game. As for Texas A&M, they’re sitting at 10-5 on the season following a win over LSU. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Missouri managed to win nine straight games to open the season before a loss to Kansas. The Tigers have since gone 4-1 with wins over UCF, Illinois, Kentucky and Vanderbilt alongside a loss to Arkansas.

In the Vanderbilt game back on Saturday, the Tigers were tied 34-34 going into the second half. Missouri posted a 51-48 advantage from there and won it 85-82. Both Kobe Brown and DeAndre Gholston posted 18 points apiece.

Over on the Texas A&M side, they were 6-4 after 10 games with losses to Murray State, Colorado, Boise State and Memphis. Since then the Aggies are 4-1 with wins over Northwestern State, Prairie View, Florida and LSU.

On Saturday versus LSU, Texas A&M took a 34-23 lead into the break. The Aggies managed a 35-33 advantage from there and won it 69-56. Julius Marble and Dexter Dennis each had 17 points with a combined 15 rebounds.

PICK: I’ll probably stick with Missouri. You could make a case either way here, though. The Tigers are coming off a gritty win over a plucky Vanderbilt team, getting out-rebounded 46-27 along the way. It was a nice bounce-back effort after the Arkansas loss though, and Missouri has now hit 68 or more points in five straight games. As for Texas A&M, they’ve given up 66 or fewer points in four straight games during this win streak. Should be a fun matchup, but I think Missouri can take the cover/win if they play well.
