ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’ll likely stay with UC Irvine in this one. The Anteaters are looking pretty good since early last month and they’re 6-2 in their last eight games. UC Irvine was able to power out a road victory at Icardo Center when these teams last met on New Year’s Eve. That one ended up a 79-75 finish featuring a 46-36 second-half advantage for the Anteaters. As for CSUB, they’re on a four-game losing skid right now and haven’t seen more than 68 points in any of those outings. I like a finish in the high 60s or so for the Roadrunners here but I don’t think they’ll quite make the cover.
