Let’s get into our Wyoming vs. Air Force prediction. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Wyoming Cowboys

The Cowboys have been a pretty choppy team this year, going 8-8 over their first 16 with losses to Saint Louis, Texas, Portland, Weber State, UTEP, BYU, New Mexico and Utah State. Wyoming is 3-1 since then with wins over Fresno State, Nevada and Colorado State, though.

In the Colorado State game on Saturday, the Cowboys scored 31 points in the first half, 34 more in the second and 14 in overtime to power out a 79-76 win. Sam Griffin was the team’s top performer on 24 points, four rebounds and four assists along the way to the victory.

Air Force Falcons

Over on the Falcons’ side, they lost just two of their first nine games to Portland State and Delaware. Air Force has lost to Eastern Washington, TX-Arlington, Northern Colorado, Utah State, Nevada, San Jose State, Colorado State, New Mexico and Fresno State since then.

Matched up against Fresno State back on Saturday, the Falcons had a 43-40 lead in the locker room. Air Force got pummeled 44-27 from there however and lost the game 84-70. Beau Becker was the lead scorer in the losing effort with 22 points and four rebounds.

ANDREW’S FREE WYOMING VS AIR FORCE PREDICTION

I’ll stick with Wyoming. The Cowboys put together a solid effort versus a good Colorado State team in their last game, shooting 44.3 percent from the field with 41 rebounds and 16 points off 11 Rams turnovers. Wyoming has scored 68 or more points in all but one of their wins (67) this year, so if they can hit the 70-point mark or so here they’ll be in good shape.

As for Air Force, they’ve shown flashes at times this year and generally don’t score too badly they’re playing well. The Falcons have given up 70 or more points in four of the last five games though, so Wyoming should have plenty of chances on Tuesday.
