In the Thursday matchup versus Eastern Illinois, Tennessee State was up 40-20 by halftime. The Tigers were outscored 54-38 from there but were able to hang on for the 78-74 win. Marcus Fitzgerald was the leading team scorer on 26 points.

ANDREW’S FREE PICK

I’ll probably stay with Tennessee State in this one. The Tigers didn’t have too many issues the last time these teams met up back on December 31, winning 94-69 with 49 second-half points. Tennessee State is on a 4-2 run in their last six games, scoring 66 or more points in five of those matchups. As for Little Rock, they’ve lost six straight and failed to score 70 points in five of those. I don’t think the Trojans will hang around for long here.
