Arizona State vs Oklahoma Prediction 12/6/25 College Basketball Picks Today

The Oklahoma Sooners and the Arizona State Sun Devils meet Saturday in college basketball action from PHX Arena. Here’s an Arizona State vs Oklahoma prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Arizona State vs Oklahoma pick.

Oklahoma Sooners Betting Preview

The Sooners opened up the year with a couple of losses in their first four games but they’ve since hit a win streak. Oklahoma went 2-2 to start the season, beating Saint Francis and Arkansas-Pine Bluff alongside losses to Gonzaga and Nebraska. The Sooners have gone 4-0 in their last quartet of appearances though, dispatching Oral Roberts, Alcorn State, Marquette and Wake Forest in that time. In total that gives Oklahoma a 6-2 record across their first eight games of the season.

In the Wake Forest game on Tuesday, the Sooners had a modest lead 37-35 going into the break. Oklahoma hit a 49-33 run from there though, and won the game handily 86-68. Tops in scoring were Tae Davis and Derrion Reid, each with 18 points and a combined six rebounds. Nijel Pack had 13 points with three assists and four rebounds, while three other players (including Mohamed Wague with 14 rebounds) had 11 points apiece.

Arizona State Sun Devils Betting Preview

Over on the Sun Devils’ side, they’ve got a couple of blemishes on the card thus far but otherwise have been doing well. Arizona State beat Southern Utah and Utah Tech before falling versus Gonzaga in game three. The Sun Devils won four straight from there, taking out Georgia State, Hawaii, Texas and Washington State before another loss to USC. Over eight games this year so far that makes a 6-2 record for the Sun Devils.

Matched up against USC last Wednesday, the Sun Devils were all tied up 43-43 at the break. Arizona State was outscored 45-32 the rest of the way though, leading to an 88-75 loss. Moe Odum was the lead scorer in the losing effort with 17 points, four assists and two rebounds. Anthony Johnson aded 15 points, while both Massamba Diop and Santiago Trouet put up 13 points apiece with a combined two assists and seven boards in the loss.

Arizona State vs Oklahoma Prediction

I’ll probably just stick with Oklahoma. The Sooners started on a modest clip against a pretty decent Wake Forest team in their last outing, but eventually pulled away and posted a nice win. Oklahoma ended up shooting 48.1 percent from the field with a 39-22 rebounding edge and 17 team assists. Defensively the Sooners held Wake to just 33.9 percent shooting and also outscored the Deacons 30-20 in the paint on the other side. The Sooners have 72 or more points in six straight games now, and they’ve won four in a row.

As for Arizona State, they’ve been off the court for a while; their last appearance was a loss to USC back on November 26. The Sun Devils gave up 59.6 percent shooting in that one and got out-rebounded 31-18 along with a 42-26 deficit in the paint. Arizona State did very well from the line (23-of-27 for 85.2 percent) but otherwise got outplayed pretty badly—especially in the second half. The Sun Devils can score pretty well themselves this year when they’re so motivated, but they also give up a lot versus capable offensive teams.
