Bethune-Cookman vs North Florida 12/22/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The North Florida Ospreys and the Bethune-Cookman Wildcats meet Thursday in college basketball action from Moore Gym. North Florida is 4-7 so far this year. The Ospreys beat D&E in their last game. As for the Wildcats, they’re 4-7 overall as well after a loss to UTSA in their most recent outing. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

North Florida went just 2-4 over their first six games this year, beating only South Carolina State and Trinity Baptist. The Ospreys are 2-3 since then with losses to High Point, Houston and Pittsburgh.

On Monday versus Davis & Elkins, the Ospreys didn’t have too many difficulties. North Florida scored 49 points in the first half and 56 more from there in a 105-66 win. Leading scorer Carter Hendricksen put up 19 points and seven boards.

Over on the Bethune-Cookman side, they went 3-3 over their first six games with wins over Florida National, Trinity Baptist and Idaho State. The Wildcats are just 1-4 since then however, with a lone win over Chicago State.

The Wildcats took on UTSA in Sunday’s matchup. Bethune-Cookman was down by 11 points at halftime and fell further behind in a 90-69 blowout loss. Joe French led the way on 27 points, and Marcus Garrett put up 21 points.

PICK: I’m going to stay with North Florida. These teams have already met up this year in an 88-48 North Florida victory back on December 10. The Ospreys scored 52 points in the first half alone during that game and had five players with at least nine points apiece. That matchup was the start of a three-game losing streak for Bethune-Cookman, with the Wildcats scoring fewer than 70 points in each outing. I don’t think this one will be all that different.
