The UNLV Rebels will travel to ExtraMile Arena to take on the Boise State Broncos this Friday night in College Basketball action.
The UNLV Rebels improved to 14-10 on the season after defeating the Air Force Falcons, 78-44, this past Tuesday. UNLV dominated Air Force on both ends of the court and had no trouble securing the victory after going into halftime with a 39-25 lead. UNLV shot 52.0% from the field & 57.9% from beyond the arc while holding Air Force to 30.4% shooting from the field & 24.0% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Rebels was Bryce Hamilton who had 24 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, & 1 steal.
On the season, UNLV is averaging 71.5 ppg on 43.0% shooting from the field. The Rebels are averaging 8.3 three-pointers per game on 34.3% shooting from beyond the arc. Offensively, UNLV has been led by Bryce Hamilton (21.4 ppg, 4.5 rpg, 2.0 apg, 1.0 spg), Donovan Williams (14.1 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 1.2 apg), Royce Hamm Jr. (8.6 ppg, 9.5 rpg, 1.0 bpg), & Jordan McCabe (7.0 ppg, 1.7 rpg, 5.0 apg, 1.0 spg). UNLV has been without Donovan Williams due to a knee injury and should be considered questionable for this matchup.
Defensively, UNLV is holding their opponents to an average of 66.2 ppg on 41.5% shooting from beyond the arc. The Rebels have a rebound margin of 1.2 and a turnover margin of 1.0.
The Boise State Broncos improved to 18-5 on the season after defeating the San Jose State Spartans, 76-60, this past Saturday. Boise State was outstanding on the offensive end against San Jose State and had no trouble securing the victory after going into halftime with a 40-26 lead. Boise State shot 46.6% from the field & 27.6% from beyond the arc while allowing San Jose State to shoot 45.8% from the field & 36.7% from beyond the arc. Leading the way for the Broncos was Abu Kigab who had a double-double with 18 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, & 5 steals.

Defensively, Boise State is holding their opponents to an average of 59.0 ppg on 41.1% shooting from the field. The Broncos have a rebound margin of 6.2 and a turnover margin of 1.2.
The Rebels are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games & 4-8 ATS in their last 12 February games. The Broncos are 12-10 ATS overall on the season, however, are just 3-6 ATS in their last 9 Friday home games.
UNLV has been playing well as of late, winning 4 of their last 6 games, however, this is a team that can struggle on the offensive end and currently rank just 172nd in scoring defense & 235th in FG%. Boise State has won 15 of their last 16 games and has been led by a defense which ranks 6th in scoring defense & 30th in rebound margin. UNLV is a decent team, however, the Rebels did recently lose to Utah State on the road by a 15-point margin and as I expect a similar result in this one, I’m taking Boise State to cover this large home spread. Good Luck!
