The Eastern Michigan Eagles and the Buffalo Bulls meet Tuesday in college basketball action from UB Alumni Arena. Eastern Michigan is currently 8-14 on the year and coming off a loss to Kent State. As for Buffalo, they’re 11-8 this season. The Bulls beat Central Michigan in their last game. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.
Eastern Michigan managed to go 7-7 through their first 14 games this year, but they’ve hit a nasty 1-7 slide since. The losses in that time have been to Northern Illinois, Kent State, Akron, Bowling Green, Toledo, Ohio and Kent State.
In the Kent State game on Saturday, the Eagles managed a 39-35 edge by halftime. Eastern Michigan was outscored 55-32 from there in a 90-71 loss. Leading scorer Darion Spottsville put up 20 points, and Noah Farrakhan added 16 points.
Over on the Buffalo side, they went 10-6 to start the year, losing to Michigan, Stephen F. Austin, St. Bonaventure, Canisius, Miami OH and Akron. After losses to Toledo and Ohio, the Bulls managed a win over Central Michigan.
On Saturday versus the Chippewas, Buffalo hit a 34-27 run in the first half and a 40-27 stretch from there in a 74-54 blowout win. Jeenathan Williams was the lead scorer on the team with 19 points, five assists and three rebounds.
The Bulls are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 overall and 0-4 ATS in the last four Tuesday games. The under is 5-1 in Buffalo’s last six overall.
Meanwhile, the Eagles are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 Tuesday games and 5-1 ATS in the last six after an ATS loss. The over is 5-1 in the Eagles’ last six road games.
PICK: I’m going to stay with Buffalo. The Bulls have had some ups and downs on the scoreboard lately but they’re putting up decent points totals more often than not. Buffalo has hit 74 or more points in seven of their last nine outings. Eastern Michigan has given up 75 or more points in each of their last five games, so that’s good news for the Bulls. I like Buffalo to keep it going here and post a cover.
