Fresno State Bulldogs
Fresno State managed a rough 8-14 record over their first 22 games of the year. The Bulldogs finished off the regular season on a 3-5 run, taking losses to Nevada, Colorado State, San Diego State, Nevada and New Mexico in that time.
Back on Saturday versus Chicago State, the Bulldogs went into the second half with a commanding 51-38 lead. Fresno State hit a 57-34 run from there and won easily 108-72. Jemarl Baker led the team with 43 points, seven assists and five rebounds.

I’ll probably stay with Colorado State in this one. The Rams are coming off a nice performance against a good New Mexico team in their last outing, and they’ve scored 84 or more points in two of the last three games (both wins). These teams have met up twice before already, with Colorado State winning both times. The Rams got a 79-57 victory at home on January 7, then they took a win 60-57 at Save Mart Center on February 18. Fresno State has scored 74 or more points in three of their last four games so it wouldn’t be surprising to see a fairly high total in this third matchup.
