Florida Atlantic vs Bryant 11/17/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Bryant Bulldogs and the Florida Atlantic Owls meet Thursday in college basketball action from FAU Arena. Bryant is 2-0 so far and took out Dartmouth in their most recent game. As for FAU, they’re 2-1 on the season. The Owls beat Florida on Monday. Check back all season long for free college basketball picks at Sports Chat Place.

Bryant started out their year with a matchup versus Thomas (ME). The Bulldogs rolled to a 147-39 blowout victory to kick off the season with a bang. In game two, Bryant took out Dartmouth by scoring 48 points in the second half in an 89-70 victory.

Bryant originally had a game scheduled Monday against Maine-Fort Kent. That matchup was cancelled however, due to a series of injuries that left Maine-Fort Kent unable to get enough healthy players on the court.

Over on the Florida Atlantic side, they blew past Lynn in their opening game this year, notching 42 first-half points in an 81-46 win. Game two was a much tougher matchup versus Ole Miss. The Owls faltered in that one, ultimately losing 80-67.

Florida Atlantic was able to get back in the win column on Monday versus Florida. The Owls were all tied up 35-35 by halftime and surged for 41 more points in a 76-74 thriller victory. Michael Forrest posted 20 points and Johnell Davis doubled on 18 points and 10 boards.

PICK: I’m going to stay with Florida Atlantic. The Owls were pretty sluggish in a tough matchup versus Ole Miss last week, getting out-rebounded 40-31 and giving up 50.8 percent shooting from the field on defense. FAU overcame that loss with a nice performance against Florida, though. The Owls shot 42 percent from the field and 54.2 percent (13-of-24) to pace the offense and overcome another rebounding disadvantage 46-37. I like FAU to stay hot and cover in this one.
