The UMass-Lowell River Hawks come into this game looking to build on a 77-53 win over Central Connecticut State last time out. Justin Faison leads the River Hawks in scoring with 12.3 PPG along with 3.3 APT to lead the River Hawks in assists while Everette Hammond has 10.8 PPG as the only other double-digit scorer for UMass-Lowell up to this point in the season. I get the case to be made for George Washington at home, but outside of the game against Maryland, I haven’t been all that impressed with the Colonials this season. UMass-Lowell hasn’t played a stiff schedule, but they’ve looked good early on, especially on defense, so I’ll take the River Hawks in this one.
