Chico Carter Jr. leads the Blue Demons in scoring and assists with 12.7 PPG and 4.1 APG along with 3.3 RPG while Jeremiah Oden has 11 PPG with 4.1 RPG to lead and Elijah Fisher has 10.3 PPG. Da’Sean Nelson has 10.8 PPG with a team-high 4.5 RPG to cap off the scoring in double figures for Depaul up to this point in the year while leading the Blue Demons in rebounding. The Georgetown Hoyas come into this one looking to snap a three-game losing skid after a 77-60 loss to Creighton last time out. Jayden Epps leads the Hoyas in scoring and assists with 17.8 PPG and 4.1 APG while Dontrez Styles has 14.8 PPG with 5.6 RPG. Supreme Cook has 10.1 PPG with a team-high 8.4 RPG to lead the Hoyas in rebounding this season while also rounding off the scoring in double figures for Georgetown so far this season. Rowan Brumbaugh also has 9.6 PPG as well for the Hoyas this season. As a team, Georgetown is averaging 72.7 PPG on 42.7% shooting from the field, 35.4% from three and 70.3% from the foul line this season.
Depaul vs. Georgetown Prediction
I’m on Georgetown here. This may be the best shot that either of these teams has at a chance the rest of the way as I’m expecting this to be the pairing of bottom-feeders in the Big East this year. That being said, I trust Georgetown and their lineup more and I think that Ed Cooley gives Georgetown a distinct coaching edge here. Give me the Hoyas.
