Texas A&M Aggies

Texas A&M was 9-5 through 14 games this year, losing to Murray State, Colorado, Boise State, Memphis and Wofford. The last four games have been wins over LSU, Missouri, South Carolina and Florida.

In the Florida game on Wednesday, the Aggies took a 23-12 edge into the second half. Texas A&M was outscored 40-31 from there but still took home the win 54-52. Julius Marble managed 19 points, and Dexter Dennis doubled on 11 points and 16 boards.

Over on the Kentucky side, they were 10-4 through 14 games with losses to Michigan State, Gonzaga, UCLA and Missouri. The Wildcats have gone 2-2 since then with losses to Alabama and South Carolina.

On Tuesday versus Georgia, Kentucky went into halftime with a 42-34 deficit. The Wildcats rallied on a 51-29 second-half run and took the comeback win 85-71. Oscar Tshiebwe led the charge on 37 points and 24 rebounds.

ANDREW’S FREE PICK

I’m going to take a stab on Texas A&M. Probably not going near this one, though; you could make a case either way. The Aggies are currently riding a seven-game win streak right now, but they’ve failed to hit 70 points in four of those outings. As for Kentucky, they’d been at 68 points or fewer for three straight games before the comeback victory over Georgia on Tuesday. I like this one to be pretty close the whole way, with Texas A&M powering out a late cover. Should be a fun one.
