LSU went 12-4 over their first 16 games, losing to Kansas State, Kentucky, Texas A&M and Florida in that time. The Tigers have continued to lose since then, falling to Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Arkansas and Texas Tech in their last five.
Back on Saturday versus Texas Tech, LSU trailed 41-33 in the locker room. The Tigers kept the pace on a 35-35 second-half run but couldn’t come back in a 76-68 defeat. Adam Miller was tops in scoring with 20 points.

Matched up against Iowa State on Saturday, Missouri was up 42-32 going into the second half. The Tigers hit a 36-29 run from there and won it 78-61. Leading scorer Kobe Brown doubled up on 20 points and 12 rebounds.
ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’ll stay with Missouri in this one. They’re a spotty 3-3 in their last six outings—that said, the Tigers are 3-1 in their last four and coming off a great win over Iowa State. Missouri has scored 78 or more points in each of their last six wins, so it’ll be important for them to get off to a good start here. As for LSU, they’ve had it rough lately with some very tough opponents during this eight-game losing streak. This will be another difficult game, and although I like LSU to hang around for most of it I don’t think they’ll cover.
