MD Eastern Shore won just seven of their first 14 games over Bryn Athyn, Marist, Lehigh, Summit, Temple, Columbia and St. Mary’s MD. After a loss to Norfolk State the Hawks beat Howard, Delaware State and SC State.

Matched up against SC State on Saturday, the Hawks trailed 35-30 going into the second half. MD Eastern Shore rallied on a 46-35 run from there and took the victory 76-70. Kevon Voyles led the way on 27 points with seven rebounds.

ANDREW’S FREE PICK

I’m going to take a stab on NC Central here. You could make a good case either way, though; this is shaping up to be one of the more competitive matchups of the Monday slate. NC Central is 5-1 in their last six games and they’ve hit 71 or more points in five of those outings. Another good scoring effort here will put the Hawks in a nice cover spot. As for MD Eastern Shore, they’re 7-1 in their last eight games with 68 or more points in seven of those. I like this matchup to be a high-scoring, back-and-forth affair with NC Central eking out a late cover. Should be a fun one to watch.
