Nebraska vs New Mexico Prediction
I’ll lean toward Nebraska but it’s a coin flip. The Cornhuskers started out pretty slowly versus Oklahoma in their last game, but to their credit the team rallied for the high-flying win. Nebraska shot a stellar 57.6 percent from the field and 55.6 percent (15-of-27) from 3-point range with a 29-26 rebounding edge and 20 team assists. They gave up 52.4 percent shooting to the Sooners though, and Oklahoma was great from the line (19-of-21). Nebraska has just one relative dud game scoring-wise this year (69 points versus MD Eastern Shore) but otherwise they’ve scored 86 or more points in three of four.
As for New Mexico, they didn’t play too badly in their loss to New Mexico State; the Lobos just didn’t shoot as well as they had been over the previous trio of outings. New Mexico should be able to hang around for a while in this one if all goes well.
