A summary that ties it all together and produces a favorable betting outcome for the Texas A&M vs Nebraska game

Texas A&M Aggies Betting Preview

The Aggies had a bad five-game losing streak going in February which dropped the team to 15-13 overall. Texas A&M has been playing much better since then, however. The Aggies beat Ole Miss and Kentucky in the conference tournament but then fell to Florida in their last game.

Back on Saturday versus Florida, the Aggies took a tough loss. Texas A&M was up 50-42 going into the second half, then faded on a 53-40 run for a 95-90 defeat in the end. Tops in scoring during the losing effort was Wade Taylor with his 30 points, three rebounds and four assists.

Nebraska Cornhuskers

Over on the Cornhuskers’ side, they had one bad stretch in January/February at 4-6 but otherwise they’ve been quite consistent this year. Nebraska finished off the year with wins over Rutgers and Michigan, then took out Indiana before falling to Illinois in the Big Ten Tournament.

In their outing versus the Illini on Saturday, the Cornhuskers had Illinois down 51-40 in the locker room. Nebraska lost steam in the second half and got pummeled 58-36 from there though, ultimately falling 98-87. Brice Williams led the way with his 23 points and five boards.

Texas A&M vs Nebraska Prediction

I’ll take a stab on the Aggies here. This should be a pretty fun matchup regardless, though. Texas A&M didn’t shoot their best in the Florida game, hitting a tepid 42.4 percent from the floor. The Aggies gave up 49.1 percent on the other side, along with 53.8 percent from 3-point range. That said, Texas A&M’s free throw (26-of-32) and rebounding (42) numbers were pretty good. They’ve hit 80 or more points in four straight games and 70 or more in six straight.

As for Nebraska, they fell apart in the second half against a good Illinois team in their last outing. That said, the Cornhuskers are playing pretty well these days. They’ve scored 85 or more points in three straight, so this one’s got the potential to be a high-total finish. I like the Aggies to power it out, but it’s probably a true coin flip. It could go either way, and the winner of this tilt will take on Longwood or Houston next.
