In the Howard game, the Bears were outscored 46-43 in the first half and 45-39 from there in a 91-82 loss. Leading the scoring for Morgan State was De’Torrion Ware with a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds in 32 minutes.

Over on the Norfolk State side, they posted a nice 9-1 run over their first 10 games before losses to Hampton, Wichita State and New Mexico. Since then it’s been wins over Delaware State, Howard, MD Eastern Shore and Coppin State.

In the Coppin State game, the Spartans posted 39 points in the first half and 45 more from there on the way to an 84-77 win. Jalen Hawkins topped the team on 20 points and nine boards. Dana Tate added 13 points and nine rebounds.

Norfolk State is 19-6-1 ATS in their last 26 at home and 18-7-1 ATS in their last 26 overall. The under is 16-6 in the Spartans’ last 22 overall.
Meanwhile, the Bears are 1-4 ATS in the last five overall and 8-21 ATS in their last 29 Monday games. Morgan State is 2-6 ATS in the last eight after a straight-up loss.

PICK: I’m going to stick with Norfolk State. The Spartans are coming off a solid outing versus Coppin State, posting 40.9 percent shooting with a 48-38 rebounding advantage. Norfolk State has scored well over this 4-0 stretch with 72 or more points in each game. As for Morgan State they’ve been scoring well themselves with 76 or more points in each of the last four. I like this one to be a fairly high-total game with the Spartans powering out a cover.
