The UCF Knights booked their spot in the second round with a 67-49 win over Florida in their last game. C.J. Kelly led the Knights in scoring with 21 points on 9 of 13 shooting with a pair of threes while Taylor Hendricks added 17 points on 8 of 11 shooting with a team-high 8 rebounds and Ithiel Horton added 12 points on 6 of 10 shooting with 3 steals to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for UCF in the win. Darius Johnson also added a team-high 5 steals while Lahat Thioune added a team-high 10 rebounds in the victory.
Oregon Ducks Team Preview
The Oregon Ducks come into the second round fresh off of a win over UC-Irvine by a final score of 84-58. Rivaldo Suarez led the Ducks in scoring with 21 points on 7 of 14 shooting with 10 rebounds for the double-double. Nate Bittle added 17 points with 3 threes and 3 blocks while Tyrone Williams had 12 points along with a team-high 11 rebounds for a double-double of his own to round out the trio of double-digit scorers for Oregon in the win. Keeshawn Barthelemy had a team-high 5 assists as well in the winning effort.

I’m going to back Oregon here. The Knights were able to take advantage of a banged up and below average Florida team, but I don’t think they’ll be able to do the same against an Oregon team that’s rock solid at home. I think at home, the Ducks find a way to get it done so give me Oregon laying the points.
