Oregon vs USC Prediction 12/2/25 College Basketball Picks Today

The USC Trojans and the Oregon Ducks meet Tuesday in college basketball action from Matthew Knight Arena. Here’s an Oregon vs USC prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Oregon vs USC pick.

USC Trojans Betting Preview

The Trojans are cooking so far this year; they’re yet to record a blemish in the record column. USC opened with a win over Cal Poly, then took out Manhattan in game two before another victory over Illinois State. The Trojans had a triple-overtime win over a pesky Troy team on November 20, and since then they’ve taken out Boise State, Seton Hall and Arizona State in succession. That gives USC a perfect 7-0 run through seven games so far this year.

In the Arizona State matchup last Wednesday, the Trojans came out of the locker room with a 43-43 tie. USC hit a 45-32 run the rest of the way however, and powered out the win 88-75 in the end. Chad Baker-Mazara led the scoring with 23 points, four assists and three rebounds. Jaden Brownell added 16 points in 15 minutes, and Ezra Ausar had 14 points with six boards and two assists.

Oregon Ducks Betting Preview

Over on the Oregon side, they opened up the year on a nice run but it’s been a tough road lately. The Ducks kicked things off at 4-0, taking out Hawaii, Rice, South Dakota State and Oregon State. Since then however, Oregon has three straight losses. Those defeats have come courtesy of Auburn, San Diego State and Creighton. In total through seven games that gives the Ducks a 4-3 record overall.

Back on Thursday in the Creighton game, the Ducks kicked things off on a 44-29 deficit in the first half. Oregon closed on a 37-32 run but it wasn’t nearly enough in a 76-66 loss. Sean Stewart led the team with 18 points and seven rebounds, and Dezdrick Lindsay had 14 points and two boards. Kwame Evans also finished in double-digits for the Ducks with 12 points, eight rebounds and two assists.

Oregon vs USC Prediction

I’ll take a stab on Oregon. You could argue this one either way, though. The Ducks started out slowly against a decent Creighton team in their last outing, eventually shooting 42 percent from the field with an ugly 1-of-15 (6.7 percent) result from 3-point range. The good news is that Oregon held the advantage up front, taking the rebounding 39-32 and the points in the paint 44-38. The outside shooting really put a damper on things, though. The Ducks aren’t the biggest-scoring team in the world this year; they’ve been below 68 points in three of their seven games. Oregon will need to keep a lid on USC with defense in this one.

Speaking of USC, they had a good second half against a solid Sun Devils squad in their last game. The Trojans shot a cool 59.6 percent from the field and 39.1 percent (9-of-23) from outside, but did miss seven of 18 free throws (61.1 percent) and had 11 turnovers. Still, the 31-18 rebounding advantage kept things going in USC’s favor. The Trojans have 83 or more points in all but one game so far this year; Oregon will really need to push the offense in order to keep a relative pace.
