PFW vs Wisconsin-Green Bay 2/6/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Green Bay Phoenix and the Fort Wayne Mastodons meet Sunday in college basketball action from Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. Green Bay is currently 4-17 this year. The Phoenix lost to Cleveland State in their last game. As for Fort Wayne, they’re sitting at 12-10 on the season and coming off a win over Milwaukee. Green Bay managed consecutive wins back in early December, but haven’t been able to match that feat since. The Phoenix have lost four straight gamiest Oakland, Youngstown State, Robert Morris and Cleveland State during this 2-12 stretch.

On Friday versus Cleveland State, the Phoenix posted 33 points in the first half and 36 more in the second on the way to an 85-69 defeat. Leading scorer Nate Jenkins put up 19 points, and both Emmanuel Ansong and Cade Meyer added 17 points apiece.

Over on the Fort Wayne side, they went a sketchy 5-7 over their first dozen games but things have gotten better since then. The Mastodons are 7-3 over their last 10; they took losses to Northern Kentucky and Wright State before a victory over Milwaukee.

Back on Friday versus Milwaukee, the Mastodons were down 24-28 at halftime. Fort Wayne hit a 46-32 run in the second in an eventual 70-60 win. Jalon Pipkins topped the team on 15 points, and Damian Chong Qui added 12 points with four assists.

The Mastodons are 6-1 ATS in their last seven and 6-2 ATS in their last eight after an ATS win. Fort Wayne is 4-1 ATS in their last five Sunday games.

Meanwhile, the Phoenix are 3-0-1 ATS in their last four after an ATS loss and the under is 4-1 in their last five overall. The under is 10-4 in Green Bay’s last 14 road games.

PICK: I’m going to stay with Fort Wayne. The Mastodons had a couple of rough road games over the past week or so versus Northern Kentucky and Wright State, but the team bounced back well in their last outing. Fort Wayne has hit 70 or more points in each of their last four wins, so they’re going to want to get off to a fast start here. Green Bay may offer some resistance initially but I don’t think they’ll hang around long.
