Milwaukee was 7-3 after 10 games this year, losing to Purdue, Iowa State and St. Thomas MN in that stretch. The Panthers hit a 2-2 run in their next quartet, beating North park and Detroit with losses to Chattanooga and Oakland otherwise.

In the Cleveland State game on Thursday, Milwaukee was down 29-26 after one half but eventually forced overtime and won it 68-64 in comeback fashion. BJ Freeman led the scoring on 24 points with six boards.

Over on the Fort Wayne side, they were 6-4 after 10 games this year, losing to Michigan, Northwestern, Southern Miss and Detroit. The Mastodons went 4-1 over the next five with a lone loss to Robert Morris.

Matched up against Green Bay on Thursday, Fort Wayne held a 42-35 lead by the break. The Mastodons kept it going in the second half and won 79-69. Jarred Godfrey was the leading scorer on 23 points with five rebounds.

PICK: I’ll probably stick with Fort Wayne. The Mastodons are on a nice run right now; they’ve won seven of their last eight games, scoring 70 or more points in all but one of those eight. As for Milwaukee, they’ve been a mixed bag on the scoreboard over the last few games, but overall they’ve been scoring pretty well this year. If both teams are on point here, this should be a fairly high-scoring outcome.
