Pittsburgh vs North Carolina Prediction
I understand this North Carolina isn’t the same North Carolina team we’re used to seeing, but I’m not sure what Pitt has done to be this size of a favorite. It’s not like Pitt is lighting the world on fire and recently lost to Clemson, Florida State, and Louisville in the favorite role. Despite the issues mainly defensively, there’s talent on this North Carolina roster and the offense is still one of the best in the ACC. North Carolina is top-30 in points per game and top-80 in offensive field goal percentage. Pitt has also failed to cover each of its last five games. I don’t understand the love for Pittsburgh in this spot, even if the Tar Heels have issues of their own. Give me UNC and the points.
