The Stony Brook Seawolves and the Rhode Island Rams meet in college basketball action from the Ryan Center on Tuesday night.

The Rhode Island Rams will be looking to get their first win of the season after a 70-66 loss to Texas State last time out. Ishmael Leggett led the way with 21 points including a 14 of 15 mark from the double line and a team-high 4 assists while Abdou Samb had 14 points on 6 of 9 shooting with 7 rebounds as the only other double-digit scorer for Rhode Island in the losing effort. Alex Tchikou added a team-high 8 rebounds as well in the losing effort for the Rams.

Stony Brook is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 road games and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games following a win while the over is 9-2 in their last 11 games following a win. Rhode Island is 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 home games against a team with a losing road record while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 Tuesday games.

Stony Brook got pummeled by Florida in their opener, but I think you have to ask yourself, what’s Rhode Island done to justify being these heavy of a favorite in their last few games. I just want no part of this Rhode Island team until they get their act together. Give me the Seawolves and the points here.
