Siena vs Saint Peter’s 2/20/22 College Basketball Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Saint Peter’s Peacocks and the Siena Saints meet in college basketball action from the MVP Arena on Sunday afternoon.

The Saint Peter’s Peacocks will look to build on a 70-59 win over Fairfield last time out. Daryl Banks III leads the Peacocks in scoring with 10.9 PPG as the lone double-digit scorer for Saint Peter’s up to this point in the season. Fousseyni Drame also has 7.4 PPG with a team-high 7.1 RPG while KC Ndefo has 9.9 PPG with 6.2 RPG this season. Doug Edert also has 8.9 PPG and Matthew Lee leads the Peacocks with 3.2 APG as well on the year. As a team, Saint Peter’s is averaging 66.9 PPG on 42% shooting from the field, 36.7% from three and 69.6% from the foul line while allowing 64 PPG on 40% shooting from the field and 29.3% from three this season.

The Siena Saints will try to bounce back from a 62-53 loss to Marist last time out. Colby Rogers leads the Saints in scoring with 14.2 PPG while Jackson Stormo has 10.7 PPG and 7 RPG as well this season to lead Siena on the glass. Anthony Gaines has 11.2 PPG with 7 RPG of his own to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for Siena up to this point this season. As a team, Siena is averaging 65.6 PPG on 42.7% shooting from the field, 34.7% from three and 72.3% from the foul line while allowing 69 PPG on 43.5% shooting from the field and 33.4% from three this season.

Saint Peter’s is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 road games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 8-2 in their last 10 games following a win. Siena is 5-0 ATS in their last 5 Sunday games while the under is 3-0-1 in their last 4 home games.

I get the case to be made either way here as you normally can in a pick ‘em spot like this. However, I’m leaning towards Saint Peter’s here as the Peacocks have been rock solid on the road and are just the better defensive team between two struggling offenses. Siena’s been playing the better basketball, but I have to back the Peacocks here.
