Mississippi State is 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 13-4 in their last 17 Thursday games. South Carolina is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record while the over is 10-1 in their last 11 games overall.
I get the case to be made either way here, but I’m leaning towards South Carolina and the points. South Carolina was playing extremely well down the stretch which is more than what can be said for Mississippi State. The Bulldogs are a talented bunch, but I think that this is a one possession win for Mississippi State if the Gamecocks don’t win it outright. Give me the Gamecocks and the points in this one.
