Little Rock Trojans
Little Rock won just five of their first 16 games, beating AR Baptist, Jackson State, Philander Smith, Central AR and TN-Martin. The Trojans are 2-5 in their last seven outings with wins over Tennessee State and Tennessee Tech.
On Saturday versus Tennessee Tech, the Trojans went into the break with a 40-39 edge. Little Rock kept it up with a 51-50 advantage in the second half in a 91-89 win. DeAntoni Gordon put up 25 points with nine rebonds in the victory.

Over on the Southeast Missouri State side, they beat South Florida, Lyon, Evansville, Boston, U, William Woods and SIU Edwardsville in their first 16 games this season. The Redhawks have gone 6-1 since then with a lone loss to TN-Martin.
Back on Saturday versus Eastern Illinois, Southeast Missouri State went into the break up 39-29. The Redhawks hit a 40-39 run in the second half for a 79-68 win. Phillip Russell led the team on 19 points with six assists.
ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’ll probably stay with the Redhawks. Southeast Missouri State is looking pretty good in this current 6-1 run. The Redhawks have hit 74 or more points in all six of the victories and they should post a decent total in this one. SEMO managed a 74-68 win back on January 7 at Jack Stephens Center the last time these teams met up; being back at Show Me Center should give an extra bit of pep to the Redhawks’ attack. I think Southeast Missouri State will do well in this one and keep their run going.
