UMass Lowell posted an 8-4 run over their first dozen games this year, but they haven’t been able to win consecutive games since then. The River Hawks are 2-1 in their last three games with a loss to Vermont between wins over Maine and Hartford.
In the Hartford game, the River Hawks were down by one point at halftime. UMass Lowell hit a 46-35 stretch in the second for an 85-75 win. Max Brooks led the team on 19 points with eight rebounds. Ayinde Hikim added 17 points as well.

Matched up against New Hampshire on Monday, the Seawolves put up 29 points in the first half and 36 more from there in a tough 67-65 loss. Leading team scorer Tykei Greene finished with a double-double on 23 points and 10 boards.
The Seawolves are 1-5 ATS in their last six at home and 0-5 ATS in their last five Wednesday games. Stony Brook is 1-4 ATS in their last five overall.
Meanwhile, the River Hawks are 1-6 ATS in their last seven Wednesday games and 10-21-1 ATS in their last 32 after an ATS win. The under is 7-0 in their last seven road games.
PICK: I’m going to stick with UMass Lowell in this one. The River Hawks haven’t been scoring great lately, though. They’ve hit 67 or fewer points in four of the last five, going 2-3 in that time. That said, UMass Lowell is in better shape than Stony Brook right now. The Seawolves have been at 65 points or below in each installment of this three-game losing streak. UMass Lowell should be able to stay in the game here and cover, but I’m probably staying away.
