The Nicholls Colonels will be looking to bounce back from an 89-60 loss at the hands of Baylor in their last game. The TCU Horned Frogs will be looking to add to their 83-51 rout of Southern Miss in their last game. Mike Miles leads the Horned Frogs in scoring and assists with 21 PPG and 5.5 APG while Emanuel Miller has 12 PPG and a team-high 13 RPG to cap off the pair of double-digit scorers for TCU, averaging a double-double per game this season. Francisco Farabello has 8.5 PPG and 6 RPG while Micah Peavy has 8 PPG and 7.5 RPG as well this season. As a team, TCU is averaging 80 PPG on 42.5% shooting from the field, 34.9% from three and 68.9% from the foul line while allowing 56 PPG on 34.1% shooting from the field and 22.2% from three this season.

I get the case that could be made for the Colonels here as Nicholls has put forth some solid action this year, but TCU is simply the better team that’s also the more battle-tested team here. I expect Nicholls to show up for a war, but for the Horned Frogs to get the better of them in the end and for the Horned Frogs to bang out a win and cover here.
