A Good Test for Texas Tech

Texas Tech sits with a 3-0 record but none of the games looked exactly dominant. Two games ago against San Jose State, the offense only managed 56 points. In the last game against Texas A&M Corpus Christi, the Red Raiders were able to secure the 73-64 victory. Joe Tussaint had a strong game putting up 14 points,  two rebounds, and two assists. Texas Tech is averaging 67.3 points while their defense is giving up 50.7 points per game. The offense is third in college basketball. Pop Isaacs is averaging 11.7 points while shooting 26.7 percent from the feild.

Can Nova’s Defense Step Up Again? 

Villanova has a disappointing loss against Maryland, but they bounced bac in the last game. Villnoava gave up only 40 points against Maryland and that was enough for the 17 point victory. Tyler Burton had a strong game putting up 15 points and six rebounds. TJ Bamba finished with 11 points, three rebounds, and one assist. Villanova is averaging 75.5 points while their defense is giving up  59 points per game. The defense is ranked 21st and they are going to need the defense to step up in a big way here.

Texas Tech really hasn’t played a good team yet, and they aren’t going to pass the test here. Texas Tech’s offense isn’t great averaging only 67.3 points per game and they are going to struggle here. Villanova is averaging 75.5 points per game and they are going to really have no issue scoring here.
