The Drexel Dragons and the Tulane Green Wave meet in college basketball action from the Baha Mar Convention Center on Monday.
The Drexel Dragons will be looking to build on a 78-75 win over St. Joe’s last time out. Camren Wynter leads Drexel in scoring and assists with 15.3 PPG and 5.3 APG while also logging 4 RPG. James Butler has 13.7 PPG with a team-high 6.3 RPG as the only other Dragon to score in double figures on the year. Mate Okros has 9 PPG with 3.3 RPG and Xavier Bell has 8.7 PPG as well this season. Tylan Pope has a team-high 8 RPG as well for the Green Wave as well this season. As a team, Tulane is averaging 64.7 PPG on 40.5% shooting from the field, 34.3% from three and 62% from the foul line while allowing 66.3 PPG on 41.9% shooting from the field and 32.9% from three this season.
Drexel is 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 neutral site games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against a team with a winning percentage below .400 while the under is 9-2 in their last 11 neutral site games. Tulane is 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games overall and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 Monday games while the under is 8-3 in their last 11 games against a team with a winning percentage above .600.
I get why the Green Wave could be favored here, but realistically, I’m not looking to back Tulane given how inconsistent they’ve been early on this season. Drexel’s far from a world-beater, but they had a nice showing against Syracuse before their win over St. Joe’s. I’ll side with the Dragons and the free point here.
