The UMass-Lowell River Hawks will try to bounce back from a narrow 62-61 loss to Vermont last time out. Allin Blunt leads the River Hawks in scoring with 11.3 PPG along with 3.7 RPG while Max Brooks has 10.2 PPG with a team-high 6 RPG to lead the River Hawks on the glass and Ayinde Hikim has 10 PPG with a team-high 2.5 APG to cap off the trio of double-digit scorers for UMass-Lowell this season. As a team, UMass-Lowell is averaging 70.5 PPG on 44.3% shooting from the field, 31% from three and 69.4% from the foul line while allowing 64.6 PPG on 40.8% shooting from the field and 35.4% from three this season.

I get why the Wildcats and the points are tempting here, but I really liked what I saw from the River Hawks even in defeat against Vermont and it’s senior night at UMass-Lowell, so I’ll side with the River Hawks laying the bucket here.
