ANDREW’S FREE PICK
I’ll probably stay with Stephen F. Austin. The Lumberjacks looked pretty darn good in their Monday victory, shooting a blistering 63 percent from the floor with 60.9 percent (14-of-23) from outside. Stephen F. Austin owned the boards 33-26 as well, but also coughed up 17 turnovers. The Lumberjacks have scored 86 or more points in all four of their wins thus far, so if they can notch another good offensive effort Tuesday, SFA will be in great shape.
As for Utah State, they were able to power out a gritty win versus a resilient Akron team on Monday. The Aggies shot 45.6 percent from the field in that one, but hit a tepid 3-of-10 from 3-point range and 10-of-15 from the line. Utah State should match up well here, so we’ll have a great game on our hands.
