Vanderbilt vs Georgia Prediction 2/25/26 College Basketball Picks Today

The Georgia Bulldogs and the Vanderbilt Commodores meet Wednesday in college basketball action from Vanderbilt University Memorial Gym in Nashville. Here’s a Vanderbilt vs. Georgia prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Vanderbilt vs. Georgia pick.

Georgia Bulldogs Betting Preview

Georgia managed to get through their first 19 games this year with only three losses, falling to Clemson, Florida, and Ole Miss. A 1-5 run came next with losses to Texas, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Florida, and Oklahoma. Since then, it’s been two wins over Kentucky and Texas for the Bulldogs. Over 27 games this year, that gives Georgia a 19-8 overall record.

In the Texas matchup back on Saturday, the Bulldogs were ahead by 10 points, 45-35, going into the second half. Georgia kept it up from there on a 46-45 run and powered out the win in the end, 91-80. Leading the team in scoring was Jeremiah Wilkinson with 19 points and one assist. Marcus Millender added 15 points with three rebounds and five assists as well.

Vanderbilt Commodores Betting Preview

Over on the Vanderbilt side, they hit a stellar run at 16-0 right out of the gate this season. Vanderbilt would then lose to Texas, Florida, and Arkansas before beating Mississippi State, Kentucky, and Ole Miss. After another loss to Oklahoma, the Commodores beat Auburn and Texas A&M in the next pair, then lost to Missouri and Tennessee for a 21-6 record in 27 games.

Over the weekend versus Tennessee, the Commodores were ahead at the break 35-31. Vanderbilt faltered in the second half, however, taking a 38-30 deficit the rest of the way in a 69-65 loss at home. The Commodores were led by Tyler Tanner in the losing effort with 16 points, two rebounds, and two assists. Duke Miles added 12 points with six assists and four rebounds.

Vanderbilt vs Georgia Prediction

I’ll stick with Vanderbilt here. The Commodores need to bounce back after a tough loss at home to Tennessee over the weekend, however. Vanderbilt shot a tepid 41.5 percent from the field in that one with a 35-29 rebounding deficit and a 40-22 disadvantage on points in the paint. The Commodores are just 2-3 in their last div games, taking losses to Oklahoma, Missouri, and Tennessee along the way.

As for Georgia, they shot very well against Texas in their last game, hitting 59.6 percent from the field with 55 percent (11-of-20) from outside and 85.7 percent (12-of-14) from the line. The Bulldogs were competitive on the boards and in the paint but also gave up 57.1 percent shooting on defense. Georgia is just 3-5 in their last eight, but they’ve won consecutive games now and may be able to give the Commodores some trouble.
