Washington vs Oregon Prediction 1/25/26 College Basketball Picks Today

The Oregon Ducks and the Washington Huskies meet Sunday in college basketball action from Hec Edmundson Pavilion in Seattle. Here’s an Oregon vs Washington prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Oregon vs Washington pick.

Oregon Ducks Betting Preview

The Ducks started out the year well, going 4-0 in their first quartet. A string of five straight losses came in late November/early December however, and led to a 4-1 run over the next five. Those wins were over UC Davis, Portland, Omaha and Maryland. Since then it’s been five more losses to Rutgers, Ohio State, Nebraska, Michigan and Michigan State for the Ducks, giving the team an 8-11 record in the books over their first 19 outings of the year.

In the Michigan State matchup back on Tuesday, the Ducks were in the locker room with a 28-26 deficit. Oregon got outscored 40-26 the rest of the way, so they didn’t end up getting any closer in an eventual home loss 68-52. Carson Cooper topped the scorers with his 19 points and seven rebounds, while Coen Carr added 15 points with eight rebounds and three assists in the losing effort.

Washington Huskies Betting Preview

Over on the Washington side, they got off to a reasonable start this year, hitting a 9-4 run over their first 13 games. The Huskies took losses to Baylor, Colorado, UCLA and Seattle U during that stretch. Since then however, it’s been a rough 1-5 run for the Huskies. They’ve lost to Indiana, Purdue, Michigan, Michigan State and Nebraska during that time. Over 19 games that gives Washington a 10-9 overall run.

Matched up against Nebraska on Wednesday, the Huskies were in trouble by the break, sitting in the locker room with a 41-28 deficit on the road. Washington got mildly better in the second half on a 38-35 advantage, but still lost by double-digits 76-66 in the end. Hannes Steinbach led the team on 21 points with 12 rebounds and Zoom Diallo had 18 points with six assists and five boards.

Oregon vs Washington Prediction

I’ll stay with Oregon but you could call this one either way. The Ducks shot just 39.2 percent from the field and 5-of-11 (45.5 percent) from the line in their latest loss to Michigan State. The 29-21 rebounding deficit and 30-20 disadvantage on points in the paint didn’t help matters either. Oregon has lost five straight games now, scoring fewer than 63 points in three of the last four. They’ve got to get a shot in the arm on offense—and soon.

As for Washington, they shot 44.3 percent from the field in their latest loss to Nebraska and had a 40-26 edge in the paint with just seven turnovers. The Huskies got to the line just 10 times though (making six) and hit a very tepid 28.6 percent (6-of-21) from outside. Washington has lost three straight (all versus ranked teams) with a combined 129 points in the last pair.
