Air Force vs Colorado State Prediction 10-19-24 College Football Picks

The Colorado State Rams and the Air Force Falcons meet Saturday in college football action from Falcon Stadium. Here’s a Air Force vs Colorado State prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Air Force vs Colorado State pick.

Colorado State Rams Betting Preview

The Rams started out the year at 1-2, beating Northern Colorado in between losses to Texas and Colorado during their first trio. Next came a 27-17 win over UTEP, but Colorado State would fall in overtime versus Oregon State 39-31 in their next outing.

Matched up against San Jose State last weekend, the Rams played a tight matchup the whole way, winning 31-24 after a dramatic 10-10 fourth quarter. Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi threw for 269 yards with one TD and an interception. Avery Morrow led the rush with 100 yards and two scores.

Air Force Falcons Betting Preview

Over on the Air Force side, they were able to handle Merrimack 21-6 in their opener. Next came a series of losses however, as the Falcons hit the skids. Those defeats came courtesy of San Jose State, Baylor, Wyoming and Navy for a 1-4 record over the first quintet.

In the New Mexico game, the Falcons gave up 21 points in the second quarter and 17 in the third during an eventual loss 52-37. QB Quentin Hayes threw for 79 yards on four completions and also led the rush with 103 yards and a score off 18 carries.

Air Force vs Colorado State Prediction

I’ll lean toward Colorado State. The Rams had their ups and downs in the win over San Jose State back on Saturday, giving up 448 yards (347 passing) and 7.0 yards per play on defense. Colorado State posted 455 yards (269 passing) and 24 first downs of their own, but also benefitted from 12 Spartans penalties.

As for Air Force, they managed 325 rushing yards (474 total) in their loss to New Mexico. That said, the Falcons gave up 255 rush yards (434 total) on the other side and didn’t really get going on offense until garbage time. Colorado State will need to stand tall against the run here but I think the Rams are up for it.
