In their second game versus Fordham, North Dakota State didn’t have any problems. The Bison bagged 21 points in the third quarter alone on the way to a 38-0 blowout shutout. Nathan Hayes put up 210 yards with two scores on 18-of-22 passing and DJ Scott managed 60 yards and two scores on 11 carries. Chris Kiel added 50 yards and a TD on four catches.
Air Force Falcons Betting Preview
Over on the Air Force side, they didn’t have a great campaign in 2025. The Falcons managed to go just 4-8 overall with a 3-5 record in Mountain West games. Air Force finished ahead of only Nevada, Wyoming, San Jose State and Colorado State in the standings with that result.
Matched up against Duquesne last weekend, the Falcons started off their year with a victory. Air Force scored in every quarter during a 34-0 blowout shutout. QB Liam Szarka had 19 yards on 3-of-5 passing with two rush TDs. Rocco Conti (10 carries; 74 yards) and Kemper Hodges (six carries; 72 yards; TD) were the other top rushers.

I’m going to try North Dakota State but you could call it either way. The Bison rolled right over Fordham in their opener last weekend with 373 total yards (245 passing), 5.4 yards per play, 22 first downs and a nice 3-of-4 on fourth-down tries. North Dakota State gave up just 135 total yards on defense with nine first downs and 2.8 yards per play. The four takeaways were very helpful as well.
As for Air Force, they’ve certainly got a formula on display. The Falcons posted a whopping 431 rush yards in their win over Duquesne, along with 5.8 yards per play and 28 first downs. Air Force gave up just 107 yards (53 passing), eight first downs and 3-of-11 on third-down tries on defense as well. The Bison have their work cut out for them this weekend but I think they can handle the challenge.
