Defensively, Malik Shorts leads the Golden Eagles with 17 total tackles including a team-high 12 solo tackles while Josh Carr Jr. leads Southern Miss with 2.5 sacks and Eriq Kitchen has a pair of sacks as well this season.
The Alabama Crimson Tide will look to build off of a nail-biting 31-29 win over Florida in their last game. Jameson Williams leads Bama with 218 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns while John Metchie III has a team-high 17 grabs for 195 yards. JoJo Earle has 128 receiving yards and Jase McClellan also has a pair of receiving scores as well this season. Defensively, Henry To’o To’o has a team-high 22 total tackles while Phidarian Mathis leads the Tide with 2.5 sacks this season.
