Bowling Green vs Western Michigan Prediction
I’ll probably stay with Western Michigan, but you could argue it either way. The Broncos had a pretty rough offensive day against NIU—outside of the 211 rushing yards, that is. WMU posted just 2-of-10 on third-down tries and three interceptions. Along with the 255 rushing yards surrendered on defense it was too much to overcome.
As for Bowling Green, they went a rough 4-of-15 on third downs themselves and had 12 penalties in a sloppy win over Central Michigan. The Falcons’ defense held together well though, giving up 250 yards (63 passing) and 13 first downs. Western Michigan is going to need to control their mistakes and keep the chains moving here, but I think they’ve got a good shot at a cover.
