The Cal Golden Bears meet the Sacramento State Hornets in week 3 college football action from the California Memorial Stadium on Saturday.

Asher O’Hara has thrown for 457 yards, 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions while also leading the Hornets in rushing with 120 rushing yards as well this season. Pierre Williams leads Sacramento State’s receiving group with 12 catches for 165 yards while Marshel Martin has a team-high 14 grabs for 140 yards and a pair of scores.

The Cal Golden Bears will look to rebound from a 34-32 loss at the hands of TCU in their last game. Trevon Clark leads the Bears with 157 receiving yards while Nikko Remigio has a team-high 10 catches for 38 yards and a pair of touchdowns. On defense, Daniel Scott leads the Bears with 10 total tackles while Cameron Goode has a pair of sacks.

Sacramento State is 4-2 ATS in their last 6 Saturday games while the under is 5-0 in their last 5 road games. Cal is 6-3 ATS in their last 9 games and 4-2 ATS in their last 6 Saturday games while the under is 8-1 in their last 9 home games.

The points with the Hornets are worth a bit of a look as I’m not fond of laying four scores with a Cal team that’s 0-2 on the year. However, that has to light a fire under the Golden Bears I’m thinking, and Chase Garbers knows he’s got to put the team on his back and force them to a win. It’s not going to be a rout, but could I see a 34-3 win or something along those lines? Sure. Give me Cal and lay the points here.
